Greg had a widow-maker heart attack in 2021, was airlifted for intense care, and thought he was on the road to recovery. But his heart worsened and he ended up on a four year journey that included life support, two open heart surgeries, mechanical pumps to run his heart, long stays in the hospital, a three day coma, and then he entered hospice but made an unexpected comeback. SSCC continued to pray.
Greg and Kathy waited, in hopes for a new heart and kidney... And one day they received the call. Greg received a new heart and kidney in a two day operation process (a third open heart surgery). God was there for Greg and his family all the way through. It's now three years since the Heart transplant and Kidney transplant, and he is doing very well.
